The Historic Sites Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (HSA) is a non-profit charitable organization lead by a volunteer board of directors, with a mandate to present the province’s history and heritage.
Some of the HSA's many projects include: the Provincial Heritage Fairs, Manning Awards and Bartlett Lecture. HSA provides support for the National Historic Sites in this Province through a partnership with Parks Canada.
Projects are funded by revenue generated from sales at the Heritage Shops. This retail operation also supports the mandate by presenting the Province’s culture through a wide variety of local art, craft, gifts, and books.
The Heritage Shop located on the first floor of Cabot Tower opened on April 2nd. Current Spring hours are 10:00am to 5:30pm daily. Visitors can shop with a view and browse the finest selection of local gifts, souvenirs, collectibles, art, crafts, books and more.
