Stained Glass Viking Ship

Stained Glass Viking Ship

L'Anse aux Meadows, one of the many national historic sites in Newfoundland, was the first and only authenticated Norse site in North America.

This gorgeous stain glass piece is based off the same ship the Norse vikings would have used in their journey to Newfoundland.

Made in Chapel Arm, Newfoundland by Fred & Vera of Crafts In Glass. Measures approximately 7" high and 8 1/2" long.

About the Artists:
Fred Warren’s talent was discovered while visiting his father-in-law who happened to be teacher of stained glass. Since that day, Fred has been making stained glass. Crafts in Glass is a small family owned and operated business that started out as a hobby. It was soon realized that there was a market for handmade Newfoundland stained glass in the area. Fred produces as much stained glass as he possibly can and if the pieces are not 100 percent perfect, he feels they are not suitable for his valued customers! Fred and Vera enjoy meeting the people who buy their products so they opened their studio, where they also do custom work.
