The Historic Sites Association is pleased to announce the winners of this year's Design and Story Contest! Six regional winners were chosen from across the province and received $50 prizes. One overall winner was chosen and awarded with a $100 prize and his design will also appear on this spring's official Heritage Fair t-shirt.

The Design and Story contest is held each year by the HSA, as a warm-up for the Heritage Fairs. Students from Grades 4 to Level III interpret the annual theme in beautiful drawings and accompanying stories. This year's theme was "Keeping our Stories Alive: Celebrating 20 Years of Heritage Fairs in NL" - "Préservons nos Histoires : Célébrons les 20 Ans des Fêtes du Patrimoine à TNL" and garnered entries from 438 students.
