Labradorite:
Newfoundland & Labrador’s provincial mineral. According to legend, the Northern Lights once fell from the ancient night sky. A young Inuit hunter came across the lights trapped in a rock. With a mighty blow of his spear, he freed the lights from their prison. However,  some light remained in the rock, giving Labradorite it’s beautiful flashing color.

In some circles, Labradorite is considered to be a stone of transformation and magic. It’s most often used for protection, inner awakening and intuition. Found in Labrador, Madagascar & Russia
