Forget-Me-Not
Since the First World War, the Forget-Me-Not has been a symbol of remembrance in Newfoundland & Labrador. The small flowers can survive in harsh climates and flourish in the toughest terrain, symbolizing the strength and courage of the young Newfoundland soldiers. The blue represents the loyalty of the soldiers as they fought bravely for the Dominion of Newfoundland.
