    Projects

    In 1993, the HSA created the Manning Award for Excellence in the Public Presentation of Historic Places to recognize community heritage projects and the work of heritage champions.

  • Paul O’Neill Scholarship

    Projects

    The HSA established the Dr. Paul O’Neill Scholarship in 2003 to recognize his contributions to the study and promotion of Newfoundland and Labrador culture and history.

  • Hawthorne Cottage

    Projects

    In partnership with Parks Canada the Historic Sites Association manages Hawthorne Cottage in Brigus. The cottage, which was the home of Captain Robert Bartlett, is open from spring to fall annually.
