11x14 matted reproduction of an original painting by artist June Farnsworth. Depicts the wildlife and rugged landscape of Port au Choix, while showing the ancient Dorest Paleoeskimo people who once inhabited the area, with a glimpse of modern life being represented by the Point Riche lighhouse.
June Farnsworth is originally from Nova Scotia, but traveled to Newfoundland four years ago to further her education as a Fish and Wildlife Technician. She fell in love with Newfoundland's rugged beauty, geology, wildlife and history and now calls it her home. As an avid hiker, she has long captured images through the lends of her camera, but now she has picked up a paint brush and interprets her snapshots through paintings.
